The white pistoles can be coloured with food colouring once melted.

FunCakes Deco Melts pistoles are halal certified and contain no GMOs, GM sugar or soya. The colouring is 100% natural. They come in several colours: natural white, white, yellow, orange, pink, red, mauve, light blue, blue, lime green, green and black.

How do I use FunCakes Deco Melts pistols?

It's easy to make colourful biscuits, fruit, cupcakes, sweets or cakes with Deco Melts from FunCakes.

Melt the coloured sprinkles in the microwave or bain-marie, stirring several times. Once they are almost melted, taking care not to heat the mixture too much, mix until smooth.

For a finer consistency, add a few drops of vegetable oil, vegetable fat or cocoa butter.

If the mixture hardens while you are coating your pastries, melt it again.

When your sweet treats are coated with your Deco Melts preparation, which has not yet fully hardened, add sprinkles and other edible decorations.

Then put your treats in your fridge for 15 to 20 minutes to harden and enjoy!

Decorate a cake with FunCakes Deco Melts

How to store your FunCakes Deco Melts pistols

FunCakes Deco Melts pistoles should be kept in a dry place away from light.

If you haven't used all the melted pistols to decorate your pastries, wait until the liquid has hardened a little and then pour it back into its original packaging to reuse it later.

The pistoles can be melted several times without losing their flavour or colour, but should not be heated too hot.

Due to temperature differences, Deco Melts may melt or develop a whitish coating (fat whitening) during transport and storage. We can assure you that this has no effect on the use and/or result of the product. After the melting process, the white layer will disappear and the product will function and taste as expected.
