This kit contains:
- a round sponge mold 20cm by 7.5cm high.
- a PjMask wafer disc. You don't like the proposed disc, that's okay. Choose among the 20cm unleavened discs offered on the site and in stock when ordering and let us know your choice when you order.
- a dry mixture of 500gr to make your sponge cake: you will have to add eggs and water at room temperature.
Manual :
Combine the mix, eggs and water in a bowl according to the desired proportions and explained on the back of the package.
Mix the dough at maximum speed for 7 to 8 minutes, then at low speed for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour the dough into the greased mold (between 1/2 and 2/3) and bake the sponge cake in the oven. Do not open the oven door during cooking!
The sponge cake is ready when it is soft to the touch. Immediately remove the sponge cake from the mold after cooking and place it on a wire rack so that the steam can evaporate.
Once cooled, you can decorate your cake with the wafer disc.
