How to use FunCakes Baking Beads to Bake Blanks

Prepare Your Pastry: Start by rolling out your pastry in your chosen tart tin. Make sure the pastry covers the entire surface and edges of the tin.

Prick the pastry: Using a fork, lightly prick the base of the pastry. This will allow excess air to escape during baking.

Place the Baking Balls: Fill the bottom of the dough with FunCakes baking balls to create an even layer. The balls will act as a weight to prevent the dough from rising during baking.

White baking: Preheat your oven according to the recipe you're following. Then place the tart tin with the baking balls in the oven and bake for the time indicated in the recipe. The baking balls will help maintain the shape of the pastry while ensuring even baking.

Removing the beads: Once the baking time has elapsed, carefully remove the mould from the oven (the beads will be hot). Using a pair of tongs or a spoon, carefully remove the baking balls from the pastry.
